Digital Radiography

Digital Radiography (DR) has fundamentally transformed medical imaging by replacing traditional film-based X-rays with digital sensors. This transition has streamlined the diagnostic process, allowing for the immediate capture and preview of images.

Unlike older methods that required chemical processing, DR uses electronic detectors to convert X-rays into digital signals, which are then processed by a computer to create high-resolution images of the internal structures of the body.
